The Osage County Sheriff’s Office has released information about three crashes that led to injuries of varying degrees earlier this week.
On Monday evening, a vehicle hit a bridge pillar on US Highway 75 between Melvern and Olivet. The driver, a currently unnamed 19-year-old woman from Osage City, was taken to a Topeka hospital with apparently non-life-threatening injuries.
Shortly before 8:30 am Tuesday, a semi went off Kansas Highway 31 west of Melvern and rolled in the process. The driver, a 36-year-old from Rossville, had minor injuries but declined medical treatment.
Around 5:45 pm Wednesday, two pickup trucks collided head-on as part of a wreck on K-31 near Indian Hills Road just east of Osage City. A KDOT snowplow driver stopped to help, only to have his truck rear-ended by another vehicle. All involved declined treatment.
