Emporia Main Street is just about ready for its annual Public Improvement Auction.
Activities will be Friday night, and Main Street Community Development Coordinator Jessica Buchholz says a lot is happening that evening.
Funds will benefit a “wide range of projects.” The fundraiser is also important to Main Street because it hasn’t been able to have certain specialty events like The Taste because of COVID-19.
Activities go from 6-9:30 pm. The dinner portion is a sellout, but there are tickets available for the Dueling Pianos show beginning at 7 pm. Tickets are $45 for floor seating and $10 to $15 for the balcony.
