The Emporia High basketball teams return to action tonight. The Lady Spartans and Spartans will be hosting Manhattan.
The Emporia High girls will be going for the season sweep of Manhattan. Emporia High Coach Carolyn Dorsey says they to get off to a good start.
Emporia High senior Avery Gutierrez says there are some things they could do better the 2nd time around against Manhattan.
The Emporia High boys will try to build some momentum in the final 5 games leading up to Sub-State play.
Coach Beau Welch says they need to be better at the end of games.
Sophomore Cooper Rech says they have improved during the season but there is still room for more improvement.
Game times at Emporia High School are 6 pm for the girls and 7:30 pm for the boys.
Both games will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
