All four local lawmakers representing Lyon County will be at Saturday’s Legislative Dialogue.
Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Jeanine McKenna says 17th District Senator Jeff Longbine, 60th District Representative Mark Schreiber, 51st District Representative Ron Highland and 76th District Representative Eric Smith will appear at Flint Hills Technical College. McKenna appreciates the lawmakers’ willingness to answer questions, and she encourages residents to be active participants.
Coffee and rolls will be available at 8 am, with the discussion beginning at 8:30 am.
Legislative Dialogues are organized by the Chamber’s Government Matters Committee and the League of Women Voters.
