Emporia States Softball team opened play in the Alvy Early Classic in Bentonville, Arkansas Friday with 2 losses.
They lost to Harding 9-1 and were outscored by Arkansas Monticello 5-1.
They will play Southeastern Oklahoma State and William Jewell today.
