Casey Headley is a happy man. You would be, too, if you won KVOE’s “Cupid’s Arrow” contest.
Headley and others called in after hearing the special “Cupid’s Arrow” sounder, trying to guess the correct “love word.” Headley’s word, “cuddle,” was announced on the KVOE Morning Show on Friday.
Headley picked up his prize, a 1/4 carat diamond heart, two-tone yellow and white gold pendant valued at $875 from Kari’s Diamonds and Bridal on Valentine’s Day. He says the pendant will be a nice surprise for his wife this year.
Besides qualifying for the prize, successful callers also received prizes from contest sponsors including Emporia Floral, Bruffs Sports Bar and Grill, the Sweet Granada, AKA the Sports Fan, Designs by Sharon, and Gambinos Pizza.
