Emporia Highs Braxton Higgins is scheduled to begin defense of his state Diving championship Thursday.
Higgins has finished in 1st place in all of his meets this season.
The diving prelims are scheduled to be held today.
Braxton was the lone Swim and Dive state qualifier for Emporia High.
