The Kansas Department of Health and Environment says it will end its COVID-19 travel quarantine list early next month.
KDHE says no travel quarantine lists will be announced after March 3, so residents interested in finding that information will need to go online to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention travel advisory page. Click here for the CDC link.
The current list involves additions like Denmark, Georgia, Iceland, Latvia, Netherlands, Reunion and Slovenia through March 3:
*Traveled on or after Feb. 4 to Faroe Islands.
*Traveled on or after Feb. 17 to Denmark, Georgia, Iceland, Latvia, Netherlands, Reunion and Slovenia.
*Attendance at any out-of-state or in-state mass gatherings of 500 or more where individuals do not socially distance (6 feet) and wear a mask.
*Been on a cruise ship or river cruise on or after March 15, 2020.
The current state travel quarantine policy involves five days at home after last COVID exposure, with residents also needing to wear well-fitting masks both indoors and outdoors while around others. Residents that can’t “mask up” are told to quarantine at home for 10 days. Click here for more information.
