Tickets are set to go on sale for the Symphony in the Flint Hills Signature Event at 10 am March 5.
The event is an annual gathering on the prairie celebrating music, art and the ecology of the Flint Hills. The event will take place at Irma’s Pasture near Bazaar in Chase County on June 11. Irma’s Pasture was set to be the location for the 2019 concert but severe weather canceled the event, and with that in mind the focus this year will be “Weather in the Flint Hills.” It will feature inspirational talks and presentations, covered wagon rides and guided prairie walks before the signature concert from the Kansas City Symphony. After-concert experiences include dancing, stargazing and stories by local musicians and poets.
General Admission tickets are priced at $95 plus tax for adults and $50 plus tax for children 12 and under. Patron Packages and sponsorships are also available for the VIP experience.
