In High School basketball Saturday Madison defeated Oswego 67-19 to advance to the Sub-State semi-finals. Drew Stutesman led the way with 25 points and 14 rebounds.
Madison will play Burlingame in the Olpe 1A Division I sub-state tournament Thursday night.
The Emporia High girls will play Valley Center Wednesday night in the Sub-State semi-finals. Game time is set for 7 pm.
The winner will play either Goddard or Kapaun Mt. Carmel in the Sub-State Championship game next Saturday with the winner going to State.
The Emporia High boys will play a final game of the season Monday against Newton. Game time at Emporia High is set for 6 pm.
