Lyon County’s latest vehicle tag deadline is coming up soon.
Monday is the last day for residents with last names beginning with the letter “A” to renew tags without penalty. Monday is also the deadline for owners of heavy trucks, farm trucks, trailers and/or commercial vehicles to renew licenses.
Residents have the option of going to the Lyon County Courthouse, paying online or by mailing their statements to the Courthouse. Those paying at the Courthouse can get in line virtually by texting “Lyon County Motor Vehicle” to 620-254-9998, by downloading the QLess mobile app, using the home page hotlink at www.lyoncounty.org or by using the kiosk outside the Motor Vehicle Office.
Office hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm weekdays.
