The United Way of the Flint Hills continues its annual fundraising campaign, and it will be busy at the KVOE studios over the next week.
Once again, KVOE is partnering with the United Way of the Flint Hills to offer the United We Thrive-KVOE Live Morning Drive auction. On KVOE’s Morning Show recently, drive chair Mike Argabright touted the list of items on the block all week.
Starting Monday and continuing through Friday, residents can bid by messaging the item number and bid amount to the KVOE Bluestem Farm and Ranch text line at 620-342-5863 from 6:30 am to 9 am. There will be a different auction list available every day, and bids will be updated as they come in by Edwards and Community Impact Manager Hannah Crowl. People can track the bids at KVOE.com as they change. Residents can see the current list at https://www.unitedwayoftheflinthills.org/auction
Chief Executive Officer Mickey Edwards says the fundraising effort is progressing.
This year’s goal is $475,000. Fundraising will bolster the United Way’s annual campaign and support over 20 community partners in eight area counties.
