For the first time since the start of 2022, Lyon County Public Health has reported a new COVID increase in the single digits.
In it’s first data report of the week Monday, Public Health noted five new cases developed over the weekend. This puts the county’s overall total at 10,059 cases since the start of the pandemic.
The increase follows a weekly total of 48 new cases between last Monday and Friday. Deaths were unchanged and remain at 112.
Three cases are still pending final cause information through the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
