The Emporia High boys basketball team closes out their season Monday night when they host Newton. Emporia High Coach Beau Welch says it’s a chance to finish the season on a positive note.
Tip-off is set for 6 pm at Emporia High School.
This will also be the final game for Coach Welch as the head boys basketball Coach. He will become the Athletic Director at Emporia High next school year.
The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
Sub-State play begins Monday night for 2A girls and 3A boys.
