New caseload activity saw a sharp incline between Monday and Wednesday according to Lyon County Public Health’s midweek COVID-19 data report.
Wednesday, Public Health reported 48 new cases developed between reporting periods. Coupled with Monday’s report of five new cases the week’s current total now stands at 53 cases.
The county’s overall total rose to 10,107 cases since the start of the pandemic in March of 2020. Deaths remained stable at 112 with three cases still pending final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
