It was a fun week of bidding as part of the United We Thrive-KVOE Live Morning Drive Auction this week.
The auction featured a new list of items every day. Residents used the KVOE-Bluestem Farm and Ranch text line at 620-342-5863 to message the bid numbers of choice and their bid amounts. Fundraising drive chair Mike Argabright says the auction helps to generate momentum with the campaign in its later stages.
United Way Chief Executive Officer Mickey Edwards says she was pleased with the bidding on KVOE’s Morning Show all week — and she encouraged area citizens to keep supporting the cause.
The auction raised $5,400, above last year’s total of $5,300. All proceeds funnel into the United Way’s annual fundraising campaign that benefits over to community partners in eight area counties.
