The Kansas Jayhawks earned a share of the Big-12 regular-season title by outscoring Texas 70-63 in overtime.
The game featured 16 lead changes and 14 ties, with neither team ever leading by more than seven.
Texas forced the overtime by tying the game at 57 after KU led by 6 with over 5 minutes to play.
Kansas took the lead for good with 1:53 to play in the overtime.
David McCormack led the Jayhawks with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Jalen Wilson scored 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Christian Braun added 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Kansas will be the number 1 seed in the Big-12 tournament and will play Thursday afternoon at 2 pm against the winner of Wednesday’s Kansas State – West Virginia game.
