Oklahoma outscored Kansas State 78-71 to close out the regular season Saturday.
The Wildcats were playing catch-up most of the afternoon.
Mark Smith led Kansas State with 22 points. Mike McGuirl added 21 points.
The Wildcats will be the number 8 seed in the Big-12 tournament and will play West Virginia Wednesday night at 6 pm. The winner will play Kansas Thursday afternoon.
