Wichita State closed out their regular season with a 70-62 win over East Carolina Saturday.
Ricky Council led the Shockers in scoring with 20 points. Craig Porter finished with a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds.
With the win, Wichita State wrapped up the locked up the No. 7 seed in next week’s American Athletic Conference Championship and will meet either Tulsa or South Florida – the No. 10 seed – in Thursday’s first round.
