Four people, including two from Olivet, have been arrested in Osage County on suspicion of drug distribution.
Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells says the arrests happened shortly after 8 pm Thursday following a traffic stop at 341st Street and US Highway 75, about 10 miles east-northeast of Lebo. Wells says illegal narcotics were found during the stop, so deputies arrested the following:
*56-year-old Kevin Spunaugle of Olivet on suspicion of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of both marijuana and drug paraphernalia
*51-year-old Linda Spunaugle of Olivet on suspicion of possessing meth and drug paraphernalia
*46-year-old Melissa Buckner of Humboldt on suspicion of possessing meth with intent to distribute, distribution of a depressant and possession of both marijuana and paraphernalia
*41-year-old Wilson Bachert of Humbolt on suspicion of possessing marijuana and paraphernalia
The Sheriff’s Office has not announced the amounts of drugs allegedly found in the traffic stop. Formal charges are pending.
