Tickets are now on sale for the 2022 Symphony in the Flint Hills Signature Event and organizers are encouraging residents to get theirs soon.
Tickets went on sale Mar. 5 and have been selling at a very steady pace according to organizer Sandy Carlson. Carlson says they’re excited for the day’s worth of activities that will be taking place, especially the signature concert that will once again feature the Kansas City Symphony.
This year’s event will take place at Irma’s Pasture near Bazaar in Chase County on June 11. Irma’s Pasture was set to be the location for the 2019 concert but severe weather canceled the event.
With that in mind, it may surprise some residents to know that the theme for this year’s event is “Weather in the Flint Hills.” Organizer Kelly Tastove says they are hoping for some “reverse karma” this year.
For those wishing to attend the event, general admission tickets are priced at $95 plus tax for adults and $50 plus tax for children 12 and under. Patron packages and sponsorships are also available for the VIP experience.
