The Emporia State softball team was swept by Central Oklahoma in a doubleheader Saturday.
Central Oklahoma won the first game 8-0. They scored 7 runs in the first inning.
Central won the 2nd game 7-2 scoring 3 runs in the 3rd and 6th innings. Harley Sturm drove in Emporia States’ first run with a double. The Lady Hornets scored the 2nd run in the 5th inning on an error.
The Emporia State softball team is scheduled to play a doubleheader at Newman Sunday.
