The Emporia State baseball team was swept by Central Missouri in a doubleheader Sunday.
The 11th ranked Mules won the first game 12-2. Emporia States’ lone runs came on a Sam Chaput 2 run homerun.
Central won the second game 10-5. Dylan Werris gave the Hornets the early lead with an RBI double in the 1st inning.
Central scored 5 runs in the 2nd inning and added 4 more runs in the 7th.
T.J Racherbaumer hit a 3 run home run and drove in a run with a single for Emporia State.
Emporia State and Central play a single game Monday.
