In addition to rain and snow, Friday’s weather forecast is now calling for blustery conditions.
With wind gusts as high as 45 mph possible at times throughout the day, the National Weather Service has issued a series of wind advisories for the entire area. Morris County is in advisory until noon Friday.
Lyon, Coffey and Osage counties are under an advisory beginning at 7 pm Thursday while Chase County is in an advisory beginning at 1 am Friday and Greenwood County is under an advisory beginning at 4 am Friday. All of those advisories will run through noon Friday.
