The Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers played to a 5-5 tie in Friday’s first spring training game.
For the Royals:
Carlos Santana drove in the first run with a single in the 1st inning scoring Whit Merrifield.
Adalberto Mondesi hit a solo home run in the 4th inning.
Nick Prato hit a 2 run home run in the 7th.
Clay Dungan hit a bases-loaded single to drive in a run in the 7th inning.
The Rangers hit a 3 run home run and a 2 run home run.
The Royals are off Saturday they will play Arizona on Sunday.
