Borderline moderate rain fell on much of the KVOE listening area Friday, while areas south and west of Emporia got measurable snowfall.

*10th and Weaver: 0.45 inches of liquid
*Cottonwood Falls: 3 inches of snow
*Eureka: 2 inches of snow
After a high fire danger day Sunday with temperatures approaching 80 degrees and low relative humidity levels, an extended period of rain chances begins Monday afternoon. Rain is currently likely through Tuesday afternoon, and there is at least a moderate chance Tuesday night through Wednesday afternoon. Between 1-2 inches of rainfall are possible by the time the rain ends Wednesday night.
