The Kansas Department of Transportation has a plan to start replacing highway signage across Lyon County beginning Monday. The weather forecast says that process may have to wait a few days.
KDOT says it plans to replace signage on US Highways 50 and 56, as well as Kansas Highways 78, 99, 130 and 170. Rain is in the forecast from Monday afternoon through at least Wednesday evening.
Work could continue into June. Drivers are told to obey any and all warning signs when they approach and drive through a work zone.
Komo Construction of Lakeville, Minnesota, won the project with a $335,000 bid.
