Light to occasionally moderate rain is likely through Tuesday. Light rain is also possible Wednesday, although the chances are slight.

Abnormally dry conditions persist across the KVOE listening area, as reported by the US Drought Monitor last week. The data deadline for Thursday’s map passed at 7 am. Lyon and most surrounding counties are in a drought watch as mentioned by the Kansas Water Office on Thursday. The exception, Morris County, is in a drought warning.
