The Kansas City Chiefs have traded receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins.
After contract extension talks between the two stalled the Kansas City Chiefs gave Tyreek Hill permission to seek a trade.
Miami was a first-choice destination for Hill, who will receive a contract extension upon his arrival. Hill’s new contract is reportedly for 4 years worth $120 Million dollars which would make him the highest paid receiver.
The Chiefs are getting in return: A first, second, and fourth-round pick in 2022,
A fourth-round and a sixth-round pick in 2023
The move will free up $70 million in cap space.
The Chiefs’ wide receiver corps now includes free-agent addition JuJu Smith-Schuster, Mecole Hardman, Josh Gordon, Justin Watson, Cornell Powell, Gehrig Dieter, and Corey Coleman.
The Chiefs still are expected to add wide receivers in free agency and the draft.
