Council Grove Police have arrested one person after an alleged shooting incident this past weekend.
Police Chief Shawn Wangerin says officers went to the 200 block of Sunset shortly before 5:30 am Sunday after a report of a person with a gun. Wangerin says the investigation indicated Christopher Scott Combs, age 37 of Council Grove, fired a gun and pointed it at another person.
Combs was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault, interference with law enforcement, criminal use of a firearm, criminal use of a weapon by somebody either addicted to or consuming controlled substances and reckless discharge of a firearm.
Morris County deputies helped with the case.
