The Emporia High girls soccer team opened play in the Titan Classic with a 3-0 loss to Wichita Northwest Monday.
The Lady Spartans will play Liberal in the 2nd round on Wednesday.
Liberal was defeated by Bishop Carroll 3-0 in their first-round match.
