A Burlingame man is in custody following a traffic stop in Osage County Thursday morning.
According to Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells, a Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop at K-31 Highway and South Fairlawn Road around 11:23 am. During the stop a K9 unit was deployed and illegal narcotics were reportedly located in the vehicle.
This led to the arrest of the driver, 57-year-old Kevin L. Talbot, on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Talbot was being held at the Osage County Jail at last word.
Formal charges are pending.
