The Kansas Trampoline and Tumbling championships are coming to White Auditorium Saturday.
The competition will feature 116 competitors from across the state including Emporia, Topeka, Parsons, McPherson, Olathe and Ottawa ages six and up. Sunflower Gymnastics co-owner and USA Gymnastics State Chair Dave Domeland says winners of Saturday’s competition will punch their ticket to the national championships.
Domeland says competitors will have to complete 10 “skill paths” without stopping during the competition with the required skills varying amongst each age group.
The competition will begin at 8 am and the public is welcome to attend. The cost of admission is $10 for individuals five and older. Admission is free for children four and under.
