The Emporia High girls and boys finished in 13th place at the ESU High School Relays yesterday.
Micah Sheffy-Harris had the lone first-place finish for Emporia High, she had the fastest time in the 2000 meter steeplechase. She said it’s a fun race to run.
Maryn True finished 3rd in the steeplechase.
Elizabeth Willhite placed 3rd in the 800 and 5th in the 1600 meter run.
Kyle Obermeyer placed 4th in both the 110 hurdles and the 300 hurdles.
Fred Jackson placed 4th in the 400.
Waukee Northwest out of Iowa finished in 1st place in the girls’ team standings.
Andover Central finished 1st in the boys’ team standings.
