Better than three months after opening its doors, Bloom House has been busy. Here’s Board President Clara Corn:
Bloom House officially moved into its new home at 301 West 11th at the start of the year, offering a “drop-in center” for study as well as recreational activities, art therapy case management and a food pantry. Bloom House is a non-profit organization focused on providing services to reduce the homeless youth population.
Bloom House currently needs volunteers so the shelter can remain staffed 24-7. It also needs donations of non-perishable food. For more information, call 620-392-3055 or email bloomhouseks@gmail.com.
