Emporia Highs softball team swept a doubleheader from Junction City Tuesday. The Lady Spartans won the first game 11-1 in 6 innings.
Addie Kirmer was 3 for 4 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored.
Shaylee Ginter was the winning pitcher giving up the 1 run on 5 hits with 3 strikeouts.
Emporia High won the 2nd game 5-1. Shaylee Ginter was 2 for 3 at the plate and Caitlyn Meyers drove in 2 runs. Gracie Gilpin was the winning pitcher giving up the 1 run on 3 hits with 6 strikeouts.
The Emporia High softball team is now 4-2 and is scheduled to play at Topeka Hayden on Friday.
