The Emporia High girls soccer team hosts Wichita Heights. The Lady Spartans are 2-4 going into the match. However, Sophomore Eryn Templeton says they have improved in every match.
The kick-off is set for 6:15 at Emporia High School.
The Emporia High girls swim team hosts a meet. Sophomore Ryan Peak is coming off a swim that saw her cut 32 seconds off her best time in the 500 free.
This is Ryans’ first season as a swimmer, today She will be swimming in the 50 free and 100 free and as part of the 200 free relay and 400 free relay.
The meet begins at 4 pm in the Emporia High pool.
The Emporia High boys golf team will be playing in the Washburn Rural Invitational. Caden Massey, who qualified for state last year, will be playing in his first tournament.
The Emporia High boys tennis team will be playing in a tournament at Newton. The Spartans will be sending only singles players Brenden Kienholz and Moritz Winning to the tournament.
