The Emporia State baseball team opens a 3 game series with Newman Friday evening.
For Freshman Kadyn Williams, the former Emporia High Spartan, it has been a fun season.
Kadyn is the starting 3rd baseman for the Hornets.
The Hornets need to get on a winning streak they are in 10th place in the MIAA Standings. The top 8 advances to the MIAA Tournament.
First pitch for game 1 this evening is set for 6 pm at the Trusler Sports Complex.
