From accessories to legal advice, fundraisers to advocacy and — yes, motorcycles…lots and lots of motorcycles — the Lyon County Fairgrounds Anderson Building had it all for the ABATE District 12 of Kansas’ annual Spring Fling Bike Show on Saturday.
On the advocacy side, organizer Devlon Moore says the timing of the bike show was important with motorcycles already out on the road the past few weeks.
Participants brought their motorcycles from across Kansas and as far away as Colorado for the event, while vendors came from across eastern Kansas to take part.
This won’t be the only ABATE event across the area for the year. The state group is organizing Flint Hills Motorcycle Mayhem II, which will be June 24-26 at the Flint Hills Rodeo Grounds in Strong City.
