The Emporia State womens tennis team defeated Fort Hays State 5-2 in a duel Saturday.
The Lady Hornets won all 3 doubles matches to earn the doubles point.
In singles play, Micaela McSpadden won at 1 singles, Karen Santiago-Sanchez won at 3 singles, Paige Stranghoner won at 4 singles and Victoria Mackova won at 6 singles.
The Emporia State women play at Nebraska Kearney on Sunday.
