SOS is teaming up with Emporia State University’s THRIVE program and Student Art Therapy Organization (SATO) for Take Back the Night.
This year’s event will be held in two parts, both online and in person. SOS Sexual Assault Victim Advocate Jennifer says with last year’s virtual Take Back the Night overwhelming numbers, the organizations felt it would reach a broader audience.
Information about resources, art therapy and answers to questions from SOS staff will be available. Take Back the Night is open to the public. Jennifer says personal testimony will once again be a major component of the event.
The virtual session will be on April 12 at 7 p.m. The in-person session will take place on April 14 at 5 p.m. at Wooster Lake.
