The Emporia State womens tennis team was defeated by Nebraska Kearney 7-0 Sunday. Kearney won 2 of the 3 doubles matches to earn the doubles point. Emporia State number 3 doubles team of Micaela McSpadden and Kelsie Burr won their match 6-4. Kearney won all 6 singles matches.
The Emporia State women and men return to action on Thursday when they host Northwest Missouri State.
