Patience will be the key for the Regional Development Association of East Central Kansas and local community partners as strategic planning efforts continue.
The RDA began a new series of planning discussions Monday as the board sat down with local development and business representatives to identify some of the key issues and solutions to increasing both development and workforce in the local community. RDA President Chuck Scott says the conversation mainly focused on local history and some of the successes and failures of the past.
Scott says personally, the conversations are not quite where he would like for them to be, however, he is pleased with the amount of information that has been disclosed thus far.
Strategic planning efforts will continue in the coming months with an exact date for the next round of discussions currently pending.
