More discussions on capital outlay and strategic planning are ahead — along with several other matters — for the USD 251 North Lyon County Board of Education and its meeting Wednesday night.
Board members will take a closer look at the five-year capital outlay budget projections, including possible additions to the overall plan like playground equipment and a new gravel parking lot for the new preschool building currently under construction and several items at Northern Heights High School. Strategic planning conversations may well include directions and priority goals through the 2026 academic year.
In other business, board members will discuss bids for flooring at North Lyon County Elementary, a restroom addition at the new preschool, fence quotes at Northern Heights and COVID-based funding through the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief, or ESSER II, program.
The meeting starts at 7 pm at the board’s meeting room in Americus.
