The Emporia Farmer’s Market hosted its final Winter Market Saturday morning.
Area residents gathered at Waters Hardware to sample offerings from local vendors. Booths with eggs all the way to books were stationed around the store for residents to view and purchase.
Emporia native Aaron Smith is a newcomer to the Farmers Market scene this year. Smith says the winter season has been a great experience.
With the end of the winter season comes the outdoor regular season. Olpe season started May 2 followed by the start of the Allen season May 5. The 40th annual season for Emporia will begin May 7 in the parking lot of 702 Commerical.
