The Emporia State men’s tennis team was defeated by Southwestern College 4-3 in a duel Tuesday.
Emporia State won the doubles point with Luiz Maia and Pablo Caranza winning at number 2 doubles and Andy Graf and Jaden Tredway winning at number 3 doubles.
Jaden Tredway also won at number 5 singles and Sergio Vera won at number 4 singles.
Southwestern College won the women’s duel 5-2. Emporia State won the doubles point with Karen Santiago-Sanchez and Kelsi Burr won at number 1 doubles and Emma Biggs and Caroline Henry won at number 3 doubles. Kelsie Burr won at number 4 singles.
The Emporia State tennis teams wrap up their regular season Friday with matches at Newman.
