A fire developed near Reading late Tuesday night, destroying a barn and at least one vehicle in the process.
Fire crews from Reading and Hartford-Neosho Rapids were dispatched to Road 240 just south of Reading before midnight. Besides destroying a barn and a currently unspecified vehicle, a tractor was also damaged. No injuries have been reported.
