The Kansas City Royals used the long ball to outscore the Minnesota Twins 4-3 Tuesday night.
Salvador Perez hit 2 home runs and Hunter Dozier hit a home run to power the Royals offense.
The Royals also scored a run on a bases-loaded walk in the 5th inning.
The Royals and Twins play again Wednesday night with Daniel Lynch making the Start for the Royals. The first pitch is set for 7:10 pm.
The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM beginning at 6:30 pm.
