Osage County authorities say a Wichita man was arrested on suspicion of drug distribution early Wednesday.
Sheriff Chris Wells says 42-year-old David Hesford, Jr., was arrested following a traffic stop shortly after 2 am. Hesford was stopped on Interstate 35 between the Waverly and Melvern exits for an unspecified traffic violation.
Wells says Hesford was arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possessing drug paraphernalia and criminal use of a firearm. Formal charges are pending.
