The Emporia High track teams will be competing at the Lawrence Free State Barrier Breakers meet. Senior Rylie Peak will be throwing the javelin, she finished in 3rd place last week at Manhattan.
Sophomore Blake Spellman will be running in the 400-meter dash and as part of the 4 x 400 relay.
The Emporia High girls swim team will be competing at the Marion Invitational. Senior Ana Chapman will be swimming in the 200 IM, 100 breaststroke, 200 medley relay, and 400 free relay.
The Emporia High boys golf team will be playing in the Salina South Invitational. Freshman Nolan Jacob will be one of the Spartans playing in the tournament.
The Emporia High boys tennis team will be hosting a tournament. Play is scheduled to begin at 3 pm at the Emporia High Courts.
